9/10/07 Our last daily summer cruise had twins Captain Heather &
Captain Sarah, joined by Captain David on the bridge. They took their navigation job very seriously, concentrating on making it back to City
Beach with nary a pirate in sight! When behold, Captain Jack Sparrow made a surprise visit to the helm and helped bring the Shawnodese into
port safely! A fun time was had by all! It was a great season with many fine young Captains aboard this year. We wish you all a great Fall on
hope that you return to sail with us again!

9/9/07 Captain Via and Captain Nolan were cute as a bug in a rug! They
were not related when they came aboard today, but by the time they got off the boat, they had a lasting bond of Captainhood! Thanks for being
such good little Captains of the Day!

9/7/07 There were TWO Captain Jacks aboard the Shawnodese
today! Captain Jack Sparrow has been spotted below deck and is certain to make an appearance on the bridge any day
4 year old Captain Jack
was definitely going to be on the bridge as he was most excited about driving the big boat! He had lots of fun, as did we

9/6/07 2 year old Captain Lane was a charmer from the get go. As
soon as we pulled out of port, he yelled out "Here we go!" as he sat on his mom's lap! He loved being on the Shawnodese and his enthusiasm led
to lots of applause! Thanks for being such a terrific little navigator, Captain Lane!

9/3/07 Boy, did we have some very young adorable captains today!
Captain Sierra, Captain Kailee, Captain Tyler, and Captain Landon warmed the cockles of our hearts as they brought the Shawnodese into port!

9/2/07 Captain Lela & Captain Bryar had lots of fun on the bridge with
Captain Curtis! The S turns were an added bonus for the passengers, who showed their appreciation with lots of smiles and applause!

9/1/07 Was a busy day on the bridge today with Captain Kaitlyn, Captain Nathan, Captain Ben, Captain Josi, and Captain Valerie all doing some
pretty darn good steering! Thanks to all our Captains!

8/30/07 Captain Hanna & Captain Sean managed to avoid whatever was
lurking beneath the great depths of Lake Pend Oreille and brought us safely into port! Thanks for being such true blue navigators!

8/27/07 Captain Damian had a blast being Captain of the Day! He bravely navigated
through the dangerous waters where Captain Jack Sparrow was lurking, but nary a shot was heard! Captain Damian had so much fun he returned
the next day to take the wheel again! Thanks for being such a superb Captain!

8/26/07 Captain Abigail, Captain Shawn, and Captain Haley were terrific
Captains of the Day! They kept the Shawnodese straight and true! Thanks for such excellent navigating!

8/25/07 Captain Cheyenne, Captain Olivia, and Captain Erica decided
that girls just wanna have fun, and boy, did they! Despite the rumor that Captain Jack could be a stowaway on board, they bravely navigated
through pirate infested waters!
8/25/07 Captain Logan, Captain Connor, Captain Karlyn, and Captain Lydia were stand out Captains today! Their enthusiasm was contagious
and the passengers were really appreciated what they did!

8/24/07 Captains Zachary, Nathan, Kelsey, Brelan, & Cael were super duper Captains of the Day!
It was whispered that Captain Jack Sparrow could be lurking in nearby waters, but they braved the seas and did outstanding jobs!

8/23/07 Brothers Captain Jonas & Captain Jacob, who spotted the
first Osprey, made excellent Captains of the Day! They kept the Shawnodese straight and true. Captain Jonas decided that as Captain, if he
saw an "ice cream boat", he would definitely stop! Both of our young Captains were delightful! Even though there was a rumor that pirates had
been spotted on Lake Pend Oreille, they did not let that stop them from taking the helm

8/22/07 Captain Melissa & Captain Kristopher made fine navigators,
showing us parts of the lake yet unseen
The First Mate thinks they knew there were pirates in these parts and were attempting to allude
them
The passengers appreciated their stealth and gave them a round of applause!

8/21/07 Was it Captain Jack Sparrow? No, it was Captain Jonathan
amidst all those girl Captains. He was a mighty brave young Captain, enjoying the wheel along with Captain Jessica, Captain Keara, Captain
Maggie, Captain Molly, Captain Rachel, and Captain Heidi! And some of our Captains came all the way from England to navigate the Shawnodese!

8/18/07 Every once in awhile, we get special guests on board, and today,
Bill & Virginia celebrated their 50th anniversary on board with their family! So at a special request by Virginia, Bill got to be Captain of the Day
along with Captain Casey, Captain Elizabeth, Captain Jake, and Captain Kade! All of our Captains were great navigators and we appreciate your
seamanship!

job at the wheel and we thank them all!

8/15/07 It was a very special charter to celebrate Grandpa Currie's 80th birthday! And the kids wanted to show Grandpa that their
Scottish blood meant they could be excellent sailors! Captain Kirsten, Captain Connor, Captain David, Captain Marqus, Captain Annie, Captain Mia,
and Captain Nikki did a wonderful job at navigating the Shawnodese into the sunset! Thanks, Captains, for being such a terrific crew. And
Happy Birthday, Andy! Leah did a bang up job of giving you a wonderful birthday!
8/15/07 Captain Brittany, granddaughter of one of our favorite repeat passengers, was a real pro at the wheel. She took to navigating like
a fish to water! Thanks, Captain Brittany, for being not only a fine Captain of the Day, but for showing such great appreciation for the
Shawnodese! And First Mate Linda says "Thanks" for the hug too! :
