Lake Pend Oreille Cruises

Sandpoint, Idaho

About Us

The boat was built in 1966 in San Diego as a ferry to Coronado Island. It spent a few years on Lake Mead as a tour and fishing boat with a six-pack license. At this point, it had twin diesel engines midships with straight shaft & rudder. From there, it went to San Francisco as a crew boat taking crew personnel out to larger ships.

Fabulous trip and crew!

We took the Clark Fork River Delta cruise. Crew was highly organized - boarding according to reservation time. Gorgeous sunny day - was able to sit out of the sun - plenty of variety of seats to choose from. Sat with a glass of Pinot Gris and relaxed as the scenery unfolded around me. A Grebe approached the boat, oggled us. Lunch was delicious - Angus burger, chips, homemade brownie and ice cream. Enjoyed the history of the area - highly knowledgeable and attentive crew.

Loved this cruise

We had an awesome time on this Cruise. Captain EJ was great and Linda and Kimberly were spot-on with their customer service and professionalism yet very personable and loved the history talk on the way back. The food was delicious and I especially liked the root beer float and hot apple cider! Very relaxing and I didn't even get sea sick! Thank you, great job all around!

Great Pend Oreille overview

Lake Pend Oreille has been part of my life for six decades, but this cruise added a new dimension. The crew was knowledgeable—we appreciated the geologic history and their ability to find a good view of mountain goats on the Green Monarchs. Highly recommend this trip for someone new to the area or for longtime residents.

Stunning views

Thoroughly enjoyed the small boat cruise on the Great Lake Pend Oreille. It was a sunny day, not over warm. Father's Day and took my husband and his daughter. it was a most pleasant and intimate kind of cruise, the boat is not so big as to be obnoxious.
